K-W Improv Festival
Celebrate Improvisational Comedy with us!
November 8 10, 2007

After entertaining Kitchener-Waterloo for more than 25 years, Theatre on the Edge (ToTE) has developed a solid reputation of bringing on the Funny! Waterloo's one and only improv troupe presents K-W's third annual Improv Festival. For three days this November, the Registry Theatre in Kitchener will become the centre of Improv Mania, presenting the most diverse showing of improv comedy the region has ever seen.

Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007 -- Best of ToTE
A potpourri of games and scenes guaranteed to hurt your belly from all the laughing you'll be doing!

Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 -- Improv Games
High school improv teams compete against one another in a bloodless - but hilarious - battle.

Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007 -- A Night with Visiting Guests
We have a whole bunch of great improv groups joining us for the Saturday night show. It should be a great show!

Just what is Improv?
Improv is comedy created on the spot - with no script at all! Actors create the dialog and action themselves as they perform. Unlike conventional scripted theatre, the key elements are spontaneity and unpredictability. This makes improv a unique and exciting experience for the performers and the audience. It's always fresh, risky, and fun!
